How do I book a STEM Ambassador?

Download our Request Form, complete it and return it to ambassadors@gocatalyst.co.uk or fax it to us on 0845 8621671 or alternatively complete the online Ambassador Request Form on the STEMNetworking site. The more information we have about what you need, the better.

We compile all requests and send a newsletter to all our Ambassadors in the first week of each month. They contact us if they are interested and available and we then send a matchmaking email to both the teacher and Ambassador. We suggest a minimum of six weeks' notice.

How much does it cost?

Nothing - STEM Ambassadors are volunteers so are available free of charge. Schools are expected, however, to provide materials and resources for activities.

I'm not sure what an Ambassador can do in my school - any ideas?

Have a look at the requests other schools have made for Ambassadors and case studies of a selection of Ambassadors. There are also many case studies on the STEMNET website. If you would like to discuss what's possible, contact us.

Are there any terms and conditions?

All we ask is that you reply to any correspondence from Ambassadors who have agreed to work with you, and make sure they are well-looked after when they visit your school i.e. meet them at reception and ensure they are not left in charge of young people.

We also ask that you provide feedback after any Ambassador visit: a short questionnaire will be sent to you when an Ambassador's interest is confirmed.
