Free web resources available from BBSRC - Stem Cells: Science and Ethics

BBSRC bioscience for the future has created a third edition of its popular booklet Stem Cells: Science and Ethics, which is available to download now.

The booklet has been designed to be used in secondary school classrooms, in particular to support the teaching of A’ level and Higher/Advanced Higher students studying Biology, Religious Studies and related courses. It includes up-to-date information about stem cell research both from a scientific perspective and ethical and legal perspectives. Throughout the booklet there are activities and discussion questions to help students to explore the issues, as well as suggestions for further reading.
